In response to identical legislation from last session, (fiscal note 360-01, SB 273), the following statements were issued:
St. Louis County Board of Election Commissioners assumes no fiscal impact.
Kansas City Board of Elections assumes no fiscal impact.
The Taney County, Cole County and Monroe County Clerks assume no fiscal impact to their counties.

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This act would prohibit political subdivisions from submitting the same question to the voters more than one time per year. This act does not apply to state ballot issues.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
