No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal declares it to be the public policy of Missouri to recognize marriage only between a man and a woman, and prohibits the issuance of a marriage license to other than a man and a
woman. This statute was declared procedurally unconstitutional in its original passage.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
