The Office of State Courts Administrator stated the proposal would not change the number of cases filed nor impact the budget of the judiciary. The Office of the Attorney General assumes the proposed legislation would have no fiscal impact on their agency.

DESCRIPTION
The proposed legislation would modify the law relating to joint and several liability, the collateral sources rule, and punitive damages.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
