Jefferson City — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews some of the legislation the governor has signed into law Senate Bill 13, a new law that modifies provisions relating to financial institutions; Senate Bill 25, legislation that authorizes an income tax deduction for certain federal grant money; House Bill 131, which allows state employees to be paid biweekly; Senate Bill 111, a new law that modifies provisions relating to the administration of state employees; and Senate Bills 167 & 171, a measure that specifies the means by which a medical examiner's certificate may be provided to the state when applying for a commercial driver's license or instruction permit.
