Jefferson City — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews some accomplishments for the first half of the 2023 session, including Senate Bills 94, 52, 57, 58 & 67, a measure that relates to tax incentives for entertainers in our state; Senate Bills 3 & 69, legislation that seeks to modify provisions relating to the promotion of business development; Senate Bill 21, which would modify the duration of unemployment benefits based on the unemployment rate; Senate Bill 17, a proposal that would modify terms used in the elementary and secondary school funding formula; Senate Bill 75, legislation that seeks to modify provisions relating to public school retirement systems, including retirement allowance multiplier, working after retirement and increases for members in domestic partnership with reduced monthly payments; and the remainder of the 2023 session.
