Delivering Results for Missouri Families

As another successful legislative chapter comes to a close, I want to take a moment to share some of the accomplishments that will benefit families and communities throughout our state. It is an honor to represent the people of the 6th Senatorial District, and I am proud of the work that I have accomplished for the people of Missouri.

One of the most significant achievements of the 2026 legislative session was the passage of House Bill 2372, a comprehensive piece of healthcare legislation I proudly handled in the Missouri Senate. This bipartisan measure represents one of the most meaningful healthcare reforms approved this year and improves access to quality healthcare for Missourians, especially those living in rural communities.

The legislation modernizes our healthcare system by allowing patients to establish physician relationships through telehealth, making it easier for individuals to receive care without unnecessary travel or delays. It also expands opportunities for community paramedicine, providing more preventive and primary healthcare services in underserved areas through ambulance services. These commonsense reforms will help ensure more Missourians receive the care they need while supporting the healthcare professionals who serve our communities every day.

I was proud to work alongside my legislative colleagues, healthcare providers and stakeholders to move this important legislation across the finish line. With the governor’s signature, these reforms are now law and will have a lasting positive impact on healthcare delivery across our state.

In addition to healthcare, I continued working to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Missouri state government. During the session, I sponsored legislation to modernize the operations of the Joint Committee on Legislative Research. While this work may not always receive headlines, it is essential in maintaining a transparent, accountable and efficient legislative process that serves Missouri taxpayers and ensures state government works as intended.

Throughout my time in the Missouri Senate, I have believed that good public policy is built on communication, collaboration and a willingness to work toward common goals. While there are often differences of opinion in Jefferson City, I remained focused on finding practical solutions that improve the lives of the people I represent.

As my service in the Missouri Senate ends, I remain grateful for the trust the citizens of the 6th District placed in me. Serving our communities has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I will continue working every day to protect Missouri values, strengthen our economy, improve access to quality healthcare and ensure state government remains accountable to the people it serves.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your State Senator. Serving my community, helping the people of my hometown, has been the honor of a lifetime for my family and myself.
