The Future in Action
Hello from your favorite Senator Angela Mosley!
I had the great honor to meet with American Legion Auxiliary(ALA) Missouri Girls State during their visit to the Capitol and assist them with their mock sessions in the Senate Chamber. It is always reassuring to see the youth of our state show such great promise. I look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the coming years.
Also, don’t forget my Annual Community Resource Fair & Backpack Giveaway is coming up on July 25. There will be resources for seniors, youth and everyone in between. I have the flyer attached below and encourage you to register (though you are welcome if you don’t). In addition, we are looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping run this community event. Sign up to be a volunteer here.
The Task Force on Substance Abuse and Prevention that I sit on met with the community and heard their stories relating to this important issue. Protecting communities from illicit drugs is one of my top priorities.
