End of Session Newsletter
Hello from your favorite Senator Angela Mosley!
Session is officially over. Several bills the General Assembly passed this year have already been signed by the governor and others are waiting on that signature. I am proud to share the language from my Senate Bill 1613 naming Nov. 24 as Frankie Muse Freeman Day passed in House Bill 2576.
In total, the General Assembly passed 101 bills this legislative session with topics including protection of children and vulnerable people, healthcare adjustments, public safety and licensing for professionals. While there are many bills I would have liked to see passed – and others I would have preferred did not – I fought for our community’s interest and wellbeing at every point. You can find a list of every bill that passed this legislative session at senate.mo.gov/BillTracking/BillStatus/TATFP?year=2026
The bills that did not pass this session will need to be refiled at the end of the year if they want to be considered again. Many will come back with adjustments, others will be the same and several may not be back at all.
Now it is time for senators to return to their districts and meet with their community to prepare for next year’s session. I look forward to taking this time away from session to meet with you and learn of how I can best serve our community during next year’s session and invite you to a number of events I will host as your State Senator to help inform and hear from you.
