Since session started, I have spent a lot of time working on property tax reform. This issue will likely soon be debated at length in the Missouri Senate. Next week, I expect to spend several hours in appropriations hearings.
A couple of my legislative priorities are moving closer to the finish line. Both Senate Bill 834 and Senate Bill 1019 were heard in committees in the Missouri House of Representatives. Senate Bill 834 would modify provisions relating to mortgage modifications. Senate Bill 1019 seeks to modify provisions relating to hospital investments and service areas. I will keep you up to date on how these measures progress.
I am honored to serve as your senator in the Missouri Senate. If, at any time, you have questions, concerns or ideas regarding state government, please feel free to contact me at 573-751-8793 or Sandy.Crawford@senate.mo.gov.
