March 26, 2026
My days continue to be busy. As the end of session nears, things always get more hectic. We work hard to ensure our legislation is in a good position to make it across the finish line and become law.
This week I was fortunate to see two of my priority bills move forward.
Senate Bill 834 seeks to modify provisions relating to mortgage modifications. On March 25, Missouri senators sent this proposal to the Missouri House of Representatives for similar consideration.
Senate Bill 835 has now been heard by the Missouri House Financial Institutions Committee. This legislation would modify provisions relating to attachment, execution and garnishment in civil proceedings.
Both of these bills, I believe, will be beneficial to consumers.
Since this is my last legislative session, I want to do all I can to pass good legislation before my time is done at the State Capitol.
I am honored to serve as your senator in the Missouri Senate. If, at any time, you have questions, concerns or ideas regarding state government, please feel free to contact me at 573-751-8793 or Sandy.Crawford@senate.mo.gov.
