Senator Tony Luetkemeyer Honored as ‘Business Champion’ by Missouri Chamber of Commerce

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Tony Luetkemeyer, R-Parkville, has been recognized by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce as a 2023 Business Champion, an honor given to state lawmakers who were proponents of proposed policies aimed at growing the state’s economy and ensuring a competitive business environment during the 2023 legislative session.

“It is always an honor to be recognized by the Missouri Chamber for my effort to foster business and create more jobs in Missouri,” Sen. Luetkemeyer said. “I believe the Chamber does a fantastic job representing the state’s business community’s top priorities and concerns and partnering with those of us in the General Assembly working to move the most economically beneficial policies forward.”

“The Business Champion recognition is our way of thanking Sen. Luetkemeyer and Missouri’s other top pro-business lawmakers for their commitment to moving Missouri forward,” said Missouri Chamber President and CEO Daniel P. Mehan. “As our state faces additional challenges such as workforce shortages, public safety concerns and an unfriendly legal climate, these legislators were our most important supporters of the policies needed to help Missouri grow and thrive.”
