No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This proposal prohibits any entity from preventing a student athlete from competing in or training for any sports event recognized by the United States Olympic Committee and sanctioned by the

national governing body for that sport. The provisions of the proposed legislation apply only to those sports under the jurisdiction of the United States Olympic Committee and known to be "Olympic" sports.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
