ASSUMPTION
Officials with the Department of Public Safety - Missouri State Highway Patrol assume this proposal would have no fiscal impact on their agency.
Officials with the Department of Transportation assume this proposal would have no fiscal impact on their agency, as the costs for appropriate signage are to be paid by the Missouri Troopers' Association. Oversight assumes that such signage will not be erected until the funds are received.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This act designates a portion of U.S. Highway 54 in Cole County from the State Highway 179 intersection to a location one mile south of that intersection as the "Trooper Dennis H. Marriott Memorial Highway." Costs for such designation will be paid by the Missouri Troopers' Association.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
