FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Oversight checked with officials of the Secretary of State's Office and determined there are 112 counties that have a County Clerk. The other counties and the City of St. Louis have Boards of Election Commissions. Oversight assumes if each County Clerk were to receive $7,500 additional salary, the fiscal impact on a statewide basis would be 112 x $7,500 = $840,000 annually.
