ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Shannon County Commission stated that the provisions of this proposal were never enacted into law, therefore, the County never imposed the tourism tax. Officials assume that to repeal the law would have no fiscal impact.
Oversight assumes no state fiscal impact.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
The County currently does not collect a tourism tax, therefore, Oversight assumes there would be no fiscal impact to small business.
DESCRIPTION
This act repeals the Shannon county tourism tax, effective September 1, 2004.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
