FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

In response to a similar proposal from this year, officials from the Department of Public Safety - Office of the Adjutant General (OTAG) stated the bill would have no direct fiscal impact on the state operations of their agency. OTAG stated the proposal will require assistant adjutants general of the Missouri National Guard to serve at the pleasure of the Adjutant General. The proposal also authorizes the third assistant general to be from either the air or army forces of Missouri. Current law only authorizes the third assistant adjutant general to be from the air forces of this state.
