ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Office of Administration (COA) - Division of Budget and Planning and Office of the Governor assume the proposal will have no fiscal impact on their organizations.
Officials from the Office of Attorney General assume any potential costs arising from this proposal can be absorbed within existing resources.
Officials from the COA - Division of Design and Construction (D&C) state no direct fiscal impact on the D&C should result from this proposal. However, the loss of revenue to the State from the sale of this property is unknown.
Officials from the Department of Mental Health (DMH) state an appraisal has not been competed on the Woodson Academy. Therefore, the DMH is unsure of the value of this property. Due to the historical preservation of this building, commercial use is limited.
Oversight assumes any loss resulting from the transfer of the Woodson Academy property to the St. Joseph School District at a reduced value, would be offset by reductions in administrative, repair, maintenance and other unknown costs.

Officials from the St. Joseph School District did not respond to our request for a statement of fiscal impact.
