FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would require access to medical treatment for injuries received during employment with a railroad company. A railroad company and its employees would be prohibited from denying, delaying, or interfering with medical treatment to an injured employee, and from any disciplinary action related to the injured employee seeking medical treatment for an injury.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
