Officials from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DOH) state that there would be no fiscal impact as a result of this proposal because the enforcement of this law does not impact the work of the Organ Donor Program or the DOH.

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal states that when a vascular organ gift is made in Missouri, organ procurement organizations must use their best efforts to find a suitable recipient on a transplant list in Missouri.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
