Officials from the Department of Health and Senior Services, the University of Missouri, and the Department of Economic Development, Division of Professional Registration, assume this proposal would have no fiscal impact on their organization.
Officials from the Department of Higher Education assumed the proposal would have an unknown impact on the state General Revenue Fund and on scholarship funds due to the expansion of eligible educational institutions.
Officials from Lincoln University did not respond to our request for information.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
This proposal could have an impact on small businesses involved in educational services.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would alter definitions concerning Charles Gallagher Financial Awards and the Nursing Student Loan Program. The proposal would include institutions offering associate degrees, and hospitals as statutorily defined.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
