Officials from the Department of Social Services-Children's Division, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the Office of State Courts Administrator assume this proposal would not fiscally impact their agencies.
Officials from the Office of Attorney General assumes that any potential costs arising from this proposal could be absorbed with existing resources.

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal enables the Children's Division to meet with a child in a school building or child-care facility provided that the abuse is not alleged to have occurred there.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
