ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Department of Transportation (DHT) assume the Grand Army of the Republic in Missouri will pay for all appropriate signage, therefore there is no fiscal impact to DHT.
Oversight assumes that since a provision for paying for the signs is included in the proposal, DHT will not erect the signs until funds are received.

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal establishes the Grand Army of the Republic Veterans' Memorial Highway on the portion of Interstate 44 from the intersection of Highway 100 at the city of Gray Summit west to the Franklin/Crawford County line. The Grand Army of the Republic shall pay for all appropriate signage.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
