ASSUMPTION
Officials of the Senate estimated salary savings of $27,315 in FY 2005. Officials of the House of Representatives estimates salary savings of $153,518 for FY 2005. Oversight estimates fringe benefit savings of 20.07% (Health Insurance, Life Insurance and Deferred Compensation would not be affected by this proposal.)

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would, for fiscal year 2005, set salaries for Senators and Representatives at 97% of their fiscal year 2004 salaries.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space. This proposal would not affect Total State Revenue.
