No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This proposal revises certain qualifications and procedures for election to the school board in the St. Louis City School District. Residency in the subdistrict from which a member is elected is required. The act clarifies that a qualified resident of the subdistrict will be appointed by the mayor to fill any vacancy.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
