ASSUMPTION



Officials of the Department of Health, the Office of Administration, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Conservation, the Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan, House of Representatives and the Senate stated that duties required by this proposal could be accomplished with existing resources. There could be cost depending upon actions taken by the General Assembly with regard to committee recommendations.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This proposal would establish a Joint Interim Committee on Community Health. The Committee would make a study of the feasibility and economic impact of achieving objectives set out in the proposal.



The proposal specifies the composition of the Committee and would proscribe the Committee from contacting or soliciting information from certain sources.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space. This proposal would not affect Total State Revenue.
