ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Office of the Governor, the Office of Administration, Division of Design and Construction, and Platte County assume this proposal would have no direct fiscal impact on their organizations.
Officials from the University of Missouri assume this proposal may have a positive fiscal impact on their organization.
Officials from Missouri Western State College assume this proposal would provide net proceeds of approximately $12,000 to the College and result in annual maintenance cost savings of approximately $3,000.
Although they did not respond to our request for information, in response to a similar proposal, officials from the Office of the Attorney General assumed that any costs associated with the proposal could be met from existing resources.

Oversight assumes that the sale would be at the approximate market value and net proceeds from the sale would be minimal. Oversight has not shown a fiscal impact for this proposal.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would authorize the conveyance of land owned by the State in the County of Platte known as the Trimble Microwave Relay Site. The commissioner of administration would set the terms and conditions for the public sale of the property. All costs and fees, directly related to such sale, would be paid from the proceeds of such sale, and the net proceeds of such sale would be equally divided between Missouri Western State College and the University of Missouri, Kansas City. The attorney general would approve as to form the instrument of conveyance.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
