ASSUMPTION
Officials from the City of Pacific assume no costs are expected from this proposal as the actions authorized with the City of Pacific require separate city approval. Therefore no costs are mandated or incurred merely from the approval of this proposal.
Officials from the Office of Administration, Division of Design and Construction, assume the proposal would have no fiscal impact to their organization.
Although they did not respond to our request for information, officials from the Governor's Office, in response to a similar proposal, assumed the proposal would have no fiscal impact on their organization.
Officials from the Attorney General's Office assume that any potential costs arising as a result of the proposal could be absorbed with existing resources.

Officials from the Department of Corrections (DOC) assume the proposal would have no fiscal impact for the DOC, however should it fail to be passed as law, the potential exists for DOC and/or the State of Missouri to incur future fiscal impact.
Officials from the Department of Transportation assume the proposal would have no fiscal impact on MoDOT.
Officials from the St. Louis County did not respond to our request for information.
Oversight assumes the transferred property would be of nominal or no value and that this proposal would not result in any additional revenues or expenditures for the state of Missouri, St. Louis County, or the City of Pacific. Therefore, no fiscal impact will be shown for this proposal.

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would authorize the Governor to convey certain state property located in St. Louis County at the Missouri Eastern Correctional Facility to the City of Pacific for the purposes of road and sewer construction.
The proposal further authorizes the Department of Corrections and the Department of Transportation to consent to a municipal boundary adjustment with the City of Pacific.
This proposal is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
