FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

With information from Taney County, officials with the Department of Transportation (DOT) assume that all cost would be absorbed by Taney County.

Oversight assumes that the material cost of the sign is still a requirement of the proposal and

the cost could be incurred by DOT if Taney County does not assume responsibility. However, for fiscal note purposes the cost is transferred to local government.

DESCRIPTION

This proposal would designate a portion of Highway 65 in Taney County as the "Trooper Jimmie Linegar Memorial Highway".

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
