ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education indicated there would be no fiscal impact to their agency or the school districts as a result of this proposal.
Officials from the Saint Louis Public Schools stated there would be no fiscal impact to their district.
Officials from the Kansas City, Missouri School District responded, but did not indicate whether or not there would be fiscal impact resulting from this proposal.

DESCRIPTION
This proposal asserts that no person may run for, nor serve on, a seven-director or urban school district school board who is a spouse, parent, or child of an employee of such school district.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
