Officials from the University of Missouri assume this proposal would have no fiscal impact on their organization.
Officials from Lincoln University did not respond to our request for information.
Officials from the Department of Higher Education did not respond to our request for information; however, in response to a similar proposal in the prior session, officials from the Department of Higher Education assumed no fiscal impact to their organization from the proposal.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would alter definitions concerning Charles Gallagher Financial Awards and the Nursing Student Loan Program. The proposal would include institutions offering associate degrees, and hospitals as statutorily defined.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
