No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This act allows municipalities to impose and assess an annual fee of up to $50, subject to voter approval, on certain residential property to provide funds to pay the cost of certain repairs of lateral sewer service lines. Currently, the maximum fee is $28 per year and must be assessed on a quarterly basis



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
