Officials from the Department of Economic Development, Public Service Commission (PSC) assume this proposal would have only a minimal impact on its agency. If the number of these type cases would increase above the initial estimate that it be minimal, PSC assumes there exists the possibility of additional costs to PSC.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal allows the Public Service Commission to refund ratepayers for unauthorized use charges, penalties and refunds from pipelines after an evidentiary hearing.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
