SB 723 - This act establishes faculty representatives to the governing boards of state colleges and universities. This act applies to the University of Missouri, Lincoln University, Truman State University and the state four-year universities and colleges. The nonvoting faculty representative shall be appointed by the Governor for a term of three years from a list of three names provided by the faculty organization. The bill provides for four faculty representatives to the Board of Curators of the University of Missouri, one from each campus. This act is identical to SB 650 (2003). DONALD THALHUBER
