CURRENT BILL SUMMARY
SB 1058 - This act provides that a person commits the offense of unlawful possession of a firearm if they possess a firearm while subject to a full order of protection or if they have been convicted of a misdemeanor domestic violence offense or an equivalent offense in another jurisdiction within the previous five years. Such unlawful possession is a Class D felony.
