SCR 47 - This concurrent resolution establishes the Task Force on Trauma-Informed Care for Veterans. The Task Force shall fully consider and study the following: 1) the unmet needs of veterans and their families affected by trauma; 2) the number of public and private service providers who have implemented trauma-informed approaches in veteran service settings; 3) the development of education and training of providing trauma-informed care in state-funded programs serving veterans; and 4) ways to facilitate interagency cooperation in addressing the needs of veterans affected by trauma. The Task Force shall deliver a report of findings and recommendations to the General Assembly and the Veterans Commission. JESSI JAMES
