CURRENT BILL SUMMARY
SB 980 - This act provides that when a state agency files the petition for the appointment of a guardian or conservator for a person due to incapacity or disability and the person appointed is the public administrator, then the county shall be reimbursed the costs of the proceeding by the state.
This act is substantially similar to HB 1829 (2018).
