SB 952 - Under current law, the registration fee for manufacturers of manufactured homes or modular units is $700, and the registration fee for dealers of manufactured homes or modular units is $200. Under this act, the amount of such initial registration fees shall be established by the Public Service Commission and shall not exceed the costs of administration, inspection, and other expenses necessary for the administration of provisions of law relating to manufactured housing. Under current law, the renewal fee to be registered as a manufacturer or dealer of manufactured homes or modular units is $750 for manufacturers and $200 for dealers. Under this act, the amount of the renewal fee shall be established by the Commission and shall not exceed the costs of administration, inspection, and other expenses necessary for the administration of provisions of law relating to manufactured housing.
