SB 822 - This act provides that all caves inspected and approved to be held open to the public as provided by law shall be eligible to receive directional highway signage. Where the focus of an attraction is a geological feature, the size, number, and locations of the signs for which it is eligible shall not vary based on the classification of highway along which the signs are located. Provided the focus of an attraction is a geological feature, any costs or fees for signs erected and maintained as provided in the act shall not vary based on whether the attraction is publicly or privately owned, or based on the classification of highway on which the signs are located, and shall not exceed the actual cost of the signs' erection and maintenance.
