SB 584 - This act modifies provisions relating to civil war property. SALE AND DISPLAY OF THE CONFEDERATE FLAG (Section 253.048) - This act prohibits the state, or any department or agency, from selling or displaying the Battle Flag of the Confederacy unless the image appears in a book, digital medium, state museum, or state park that serves an educational or historical purpose. TRANSFER OF CERTAIN MONUMENTS (Section 253.110) - This act requires all monuments and plaques owned by the state that commemorate any individual or sovereign entity that engaged in military action against the United States government transferred and installed in the Confederate Memorial Park.
