SB 614 - Under this act, no lobbyist principal, lobbyist, or person acting on behalf of a lobbyist principal or lobbyist shall make any expenditure for any public official, or such person's staff, employees, spouse, or dependent children. The act modifies the definition of public official to include certain elected local government officials as defined in the act. Furthermore, this act repeals all references to lobbyist expenditure reporting requirements. This act is identical to SB 202 (2017) and similar to certain provisions in HB 1303 (2018), SB 2 (2017), SB 59 (2017), HB 60 (2017), SB 632 (2016), SB 643 (2016), and HB 2166 (2016). SCOTT SVAGERA
