CURRENT BILL SUMMARY
SB 356 - Currently, the St. Charles County Convention and Sports Facilities Authority has the authority to impose a tax on the charges for all sleeping rooms paid by transient guests within the county. This act provides a formula to calculate the amount of charges for sleeping rooms paid by transient guests to determine the room tax.
