SCR 28 - This Senate Concurrent Resolution establishes a Joint Committee on the Missouri Criminal Code. The committee is to be composed of three Senate members and three House members who may meet during the current legislative session and continue to meet during the interim. The committee's charge is to conduct a comprehensive review of the Missouri Criminal Code and the Missouri Bar Association's recommendations for revising the Code, examine any other relevant issues, and recommend ways to improve the cohesiveness, consistency, and effectiveness of the state's criminal laws.
