SB 1478 - This act modifies the membership of the bicentennial license plate advisory committee, and requires the committee to adopt multiple designs and color schemes for license plates generally, rather than designing bicentennial plates. The act specifies that General Assembly may appropriate funds from the State Highways and Transportation Department Fund for the design and issuance of license plates. The committee shall meet, select a chairperson, and develop plate designs and parameters not later than January 1, 2025, and shall direct the Director of the Department of Revenue to implement its final design and parameters not later than January 1, 2027.
