SB 1190 - This act authorizes agents of the Gaming Commission who are certified as peace officers or instructors to be considered peace officers in this state. Such agents will have the power to arrest a person, make searches and seizures and serve process for violation of gaming laws. Such agents will have the same powers as a peace officer when working with or at the request of other law enforcement agencies. The agents have the authority to make arrests for violation of all laws of this state if they occur on property where licensed gaming occurs. Finally, the agents may arrest on view, at any place in this state, a person who the agent sees asserting physical force for the purpose of causing or creating a substantial risk of death or serious injury. Any gaming licensee who erroneously accepts wagers from a person who has self-excluded themselves from gambling boats shall transfer such wagers into the compulsive gamblers fund in accordance with rules promulgated by the Gaming Commission.
