CURRENT BILL SUMMARY
SB 56 - Under current law, county commissions and county health boards have the authority to make and promulgate public health orders, ordinances, rules, and regulations relating to infectious, contagious, communicable, or dangerous diseases in the county, subject to certain limitations. This act removes such authority from county health boards.
