CURRENT BILL SUMMARY
SB 1434 - Currently, 15% of all proceeds from mineral mining extracted from national forest reserves shall be split equally between counties where there is no mining. Under the act, the 15% of all proceeds shall be split equally between counties where a national forest is situated.
