SB 337 - Under current law, victims of certain crimes shall be notified by the prosecutor's office and law enforcement of certain filings or status updates in the criminal case of which he or she is a victim. This act adds that the victim shall be notified by certified mail or by electronic mail. This act is identical to the truly agreed to and finally passed HCS/SS/SB 24 (2023), the truly agreed to and finally passed HCS/SCS/SB 103 (2023), the truly agreed to and finally passed CCS/HCS/SB 186 (2023), and the truly agreed to and finally passed SS/SCS/SBs 189, et al (2023).
