SB 110 - This act eliminates the Personnel Advisory Board and gives all duties and responsibilities previously held by the board to the Director of the Personnel Division and the Commissioner of Administration. The act additionally makes the position of Director of the Personnel Division appointed by the Commissioner of Administration. The Director may be removed by the Commissioner for no reason or any reason not prohibited by law. This act is identical to provisions in SCS/SB 653 (2023), SB 996 (2022), provisions in HCS/SS#2/SB 997 (2022), and provisions in the truly agreed to and finally passed SCS/HB 2090 (2022) and substantially similar to provisions in the truly agreed to and finally passed CCS/HCS/SS/SB 111 (2023), HCS/HB 127 (2023), SCS/HCS/HB 475 (2023), and HB 2023 (2022).
