SB 1058 - This act provides that for fleets of vehicles used solely for rental or leasing and composed of at least 3,500 vehicles, vehicle registration fees shall be fully payable at the time the license plates are ordered, except that when the plates are ordered after the first month of registration, the fees payable shall be prorated by the month the plates were ordered. When biennial registration is sought, an additional year's annual fee shall be added to the partial year's prorated fee. This act is identical to HB 2444 (2020), provisions in the truly agreed to and finally passed SS#3/SCS/HB 1963 (2020), provisions in HCS/SB 686 (2020), provisions in HCS/SB 782 (2020), and provisions in HCS/SCS/SB 867 (2020).
