SB 1054 - Current law exempts any course of study or instruction conducted by a trade, business, or professional organization with a closed membership where participation is limited to bona fide members of the trade, business, or professional organization from certain requirements of proprietary schools. Under this act, such course is now limited to a majority of bona fide members of the trade, business, or professional organization. This act is identical to SB 446 (2019). JOSIE BUTLER
